Privacy

This notice says what Pryce stores when you use the site. It covers your account, your commute, what your browser remembers, how we count visits, and payment. Other people who receive data are named in the sections below.

Account details

When you are signed in, we store your preferred name, email, phone, and address on your Pryce account, so we can reach you about your account. You enter them under Account → Your details.

If you choose an estate agent, we pass these contact details to that agent. We do not pass them unless you choose. You can use the map and never choose one.

You sign in with the email on the account. You can change these details there.

Commute

When you are signed in, you can save a place of work on your account. We store its name and its map coordinates. We also store your arrival time, your departure time, the maximum minutes, and the modes you choose: drive or train.

The map shows the fastest of the modes you choose, for the day you need to arrive.

We keep this so the map can draw it again. You can change it in settings. Settings saves as you edit. On the map, use Save commute.

What the browser remembers

Your browser keeps the items below on this device.

It keeps your sign-in session, which is what keeps you signed in. It keeps choices you have made: theme, map theme, flood and crime layers, your listing search, which listings site you picked, and a copy of your preferred name.

It also keeps a few flags on this device. They record that you have seen the map credit, and whether you dismissed a login prompt.

How we see which parts of the site are used

We count visits to see what is used and what is slow, so we can improve the site.

This count does not use a cookie, and this count stores nothing in your browser. That is why this count does not ask for a popup. Sign-in and the choices above are a different store.

A visit record is the page path, the referrer (the page that sent you here), the device, the language, and the country. The path can name a particular page. We do not record map coordinates or property coordinates, and we do not record a postcode from a search.

We count opening the map. We count a search by type only: street, place, or address. We count opening a property panel. We count how fast the page loaded.

A visit is not attached to your account. For that day, the count tells one browser from another using the network address and the browser. We do not keep that as the same person the next day.

We do not sell these counts. We do not use them to advertise.

Payment

The paid map is £3 a month, VAT included. Stripe takes the payment and stores the card. You can cancel anytime in Stripe.

Pryce does not store your card number. We keep whether the subscription is on.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not use visit counts to advertise. We do not attach visits to your account. We do not pass your contact details to an estate agent until you choose one.

You can change your contact details and your commute in the product. There is no delete control in the product. For anything else, write to admin@pryce.app.
